April 9, 1927 - January 25, 2019
In the afternoon of January 25, 2019 Florence Isabella Annette passed away peacefully with family by her side at Mariposa Gardens in Osoyoos, British Columbia at the age of 91.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Archie Seymour Annette, and her sisters Helen Mitchell and Elsie Jordan.
Flo will be fondly remembered by her daughters Kathy Renaud (Ray) and Bonni Yontz (Don), grandchildren Dan Renaud (Jocey) and Chris Renaud, including great-grandchildren Renee, Joel, Jordanna, Bryson, extended family and friends.
Flo was employed with H.R. MacMillan Export Company Limited for many years in Vancouver. She and Archie lived in Ocean Falls, Sandspit, Vancouver, and Coquitlam eventually settling on Vancouver Island. She and Archie travelled extensively by boat throughout the west coast and she became the wharfinger in Port McNeil, BC before retiring to Campbell River.
Flo spent her last 38 years in Campbell River where she enjoyed friends, gardening as well as her beautiful view of the harbour watching all the eagles and cruise ships passing by.
A very special thanks to Dr. Robert J. Calder and the very caring staff at Mariposa Gardens in Osoyoos, BC for assisting Florence through the last stages of her life.
No funeral service will be held by request.
