Florence passed away peacefully and now joins her loving husband Carl (Tubby) and her brother Arnold Cameron.
She leaves behind her sister, Margaret Carlin, her four sons, Alan (Sue), Glen (Linda), Gary (Darnell), Dean (D'Arcy), grandchildren Allison, Theresa, Brad, Tara, Melissa, Trevor, Jessica and great grandchild Dillan, her sister-in-law Hattie Cameron and her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Florence was born at home on the farm in Saskatchewan, and made Campbell River her home fulltime when she and Tubby married on November 9, 1945.
She loved sports and treasured her time spent with her friends golfing, curling, bowling, and playing cards. She enjoyed travelling with Tubby and later with her sister-in-law Alvida Jepson. As well she enjoyed her many hours spent with Tubby in the businesses, the CR Firefighters, Curling Club, Kinettes and many other activities.
Florence loved her family and was extremely proud of their accomplishments. She took great joy in participating in their lives. We cherish the memories she left us, she will be greatly missed and ever loved.
The family invites you to come celebrate her life at an informal gathering at the C.R. Community Centre, Friday, June 1st at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donation in Florence's memory to the Cancer Society, the Hospital Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
