Fiorenza Matilde LORENZI

May 30, 2007

LORENZI,

Fiorenza Matilde

June 29, 1964 - May 30, 2007

At the young age of 43 our beloved Fiorenza has left us and now rests, we are certain, in the open arms of our mother Giuseppina, who predeceased her in 2005. Fiorenza is survived and dearly missed by her family in Canada-her father Antonio, sisters Deanna (Ian and Nicholas) and Daniela (John and Nicole and Justin)-and all her aunts, uncles, and cousins in Italy.

Fiorenza's story is one full of inspiration. She was born in Toronto and was most happily anticipated and loved. As a little girl she was strong, happy, and fun-loving. As a student she was bright, dedicated and multi-talented. Her future looked as bright as her lovely-often-impish-smile. Unfortunately, a diagnosis of M.S. in 1984 would change the course of her life. Despite ever-increasing setbacks and hardships, Fiorenza's strength, courage, gratitude, and positive attitude shone like a star right until the end, and were a true inspiration to family, friends, and caregivers. We will all miss her smile, her wink, her kisses and her devilish sense of humour.

Ciao Bella...Kiddo...My Girl...Bellissima!

We will always love you so much-

The family offers our profound gratitude to the medical caregivers of Sunshine Lodge at the Campbell River and District General Hospital, for their years of care and support for Fiorenza. Your dedication will never be forgotten.
