It is with great sadness we announce that Verna Kouwen went to be with her Lord and saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 28, 2021 with her daughters by her side.
Verna was loved by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Bert Kouwen and her daughter Julie Ducommun-Kouwen.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Rita Kouwen of New Westminster, Lora (Phil) Gomes of Bellingham, WA, 9 grandchildren and other family and relatives in the Netherlands.
The family wished to thank the doctors and nurses of Campbell River Hospital for caring for Verna for those few weeks.
A private graveside service was held at Elks Falls Cemetery on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
