Evelyn Herman

In loving memory ~

Evelyn HERMAN passed away in peace at the Broadmead Veterans Lodge in Victoria on Friday August 9th 2024 at the age of 95 years. She was independently minded, and much loved, and respected, by many. She will dearly be missed.

She was predeceased by her parents Tom and Jenny FOSKETT of the Diamond area of Ladysmith, Her siblings Dorothy and Martin LOVROD of Ladysmith, Joan and Ed STUBBINGTON of Victoria, Walter and Lou FOSKETT of Edmonton and her husband of 66 years Ed HERMAN of Campbell River.

She is survived by her children David and Diana HERMAN of Nanaimo, Lynn PADDON of North Vancouver and, Teresa and David NORRIS of Victoria.

Her grandchildren Tom and Darby HERMAN of Lethbridge, Alberta; Beth and Aaron PIQUETTE of Lethbridge, Alberta; Tyler DRUMMOND of Calgary, Alberta; Mathew DRUMMOND of Calgary, Alberta;

Steven PADDON and Madeline McFetridge of Vancouver; Nick PADDON and Asha DeChamplain of Vancouver; Mathew NORRIS of Victoria, a current serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces; Ben NORRIS and Annette MAHONEY of Edmonton, Hannah NORRIS of Victoria.

She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

A traditional funeral service of the Anglican faith will be held on Tuesday, August 27th at 11:00 at Sands Funeral Chapel #1 Newcastle Ave. Nanaimo, BC.

Refreshments will be served following the funeral service.

To follow the reception there will be a procession to the burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens at 14:00 to lay Evelyn for her final resting place.
