Eric Madsen - 1926 - 2017 - As a young man Eric emigrated from Denmark to Canada eventually settling in Campbell River. He enjoyed playing Soccer, Crib, Bridge and his many years of camaraderie at the Eagles Club.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie in 2004.
Eric is survived by his two sons, Doug (Jeanette) and Birk (Karen). He spent many years in charge of crews as a commercial tree planter before being employed at Elk Falls Mill until his retirement.
Eric saw much of the world through his extensive travels.
A memorial service will be held at Sutton's Campbell River Funeral Home (502 S Dogwood St.) on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11 a.m.
A reception will follow in the hall at the Eagles Lodge 1999 14 Ave Campbell River, BC.
