Was born November, 15th, 1923 to Johannes and Ellis Maurer in Lindenfels/Odenwald, Germany. Emmy’s siblings: Eva, Heinrich, Hans, Anna and Gretel. Emmy’s children: Udo (Meriel), Hans (Donna), Vera (Laurier) and Ulrike (John). Grandchildren: Leslie, Kay, Adam, Jennifer, Rebecca, Lindsey, Amy and Amanda. Great grandchild: Evelyn. She was married to Helmut for 53 years.
