Emile Nadeau

July 8, 2018

December 30, 1934 - July 8, 2018
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our father. Emile was born in Bigwood Ontario.

He is predeceased by his wife Anne (Moreau), his parents Adrien & Germaine Nadeau & his youngest sister Gisele Tessier. He leaves behind his three daughters, Suzanne Prosser (Mick) from Campbell River, BC, Monique Nadurak (Leon Laporte) of Calgary Alberta, Rolande Strandquist (Wayne) of Sparwood, BC & his Granddaughter Ali Nadurak (Jeff Rogers) of Robson, BC as well as sister Jeannette Majiski of Sudbury, Ontario & brother Raymond Nadeau from Zephyrhills, Florida, along with several nieces & nephews.

Emile's two passions where being a Mechanic & Hockey. He worked on the largest truck in the world from 1988-1992. During his hockey years he played with the Sudbury Wolves hockey team. While playing with the Sudbury Wolves he played with and against some of the top hockey players of his time to name a few, Maurice "Rocket" Richard & Eddie Shack.

He took his family and moved to the Alberta mining town of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta in 1974. Then in 1993 Emile & Anne moved to Campbell River on Vancouver Island. They did move to Port McNeill for some time but returned to Campbell River.

A private gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of BC would be greatly appreciated.
