Was born in Bankend, Saskatchewan on January 14, 1913. Nellie passed away on January 20, 2007 in Campbell River at the age of 94. She is survived by children Irene (Ray) and Bill, and predeceased by son Eric and late husband Lawrence McKay. She will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and 3 generaitons of grand children. Her passion in life was family, friends and her beautiful vegetable/flower garden. We will miss her famous gingersnap cookies. She was beautiful, strong, compassionate and the heart of our family. Her spirit is forever with us; “We Love You”.
