Betty was predeceased by her first husband F.O. Julian Vernon Orison Wood, RCAF in 1943, her second husband John (Jack) William Lewis in 1978, father, mother and brother of Wishaw, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She is survived by her daughter Mary C. In 1966 Betty and Jack moved to Big Rock area and later moved across the street to their home on the ocean. Over the years, many happy times were enjoyed by friends and family at their home by the sea, especially the Sunday family roast beef dinners. February 23/24 - July 12/02

God’s Garden

God looked around his

garden,

And found an empty place....

He then looked down upon the earth,

And saw Mom’s tired face....

He put his arms around her,

And lifted Mom to rest....

God’s garden must be beautiful,

He always takes the best....

He knew Mom was

suffering,

He knew she was in pain....

He knew that Mom would never rest on the

earth again....

God saw the road was

getting rough,

And the hills were hard to climb....

Se he closed Mom’s weary eyes,

And whispered “Peace be Thine....”

It broke our hearts

to lose her,

But she didn’t go alone....

For part of us went

with Mom,

The day God called her Home....

Nana - You will be missed
