In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of "Bev" Dingwall. She passed peacefully at Discovery Harbour Seniors Community June 1st 2025 at 4:40AM. Bev was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, GG and friend.

Predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Percy and Irene Stacy, brothers Jack (Claire, Pam), Richard (Anne) and sister Joan (Ed). She leaves to mourn children Steve (Tanya), Gail (Art), Jerry (Mandy), grandchildren Tracy, Tammy (Bob), Jim (Janet), Ying, Jennifer (Chris), Ryan (Sara) and Brittany, great grandchildren Brady, Rheanna, Madeleine, Sam, Finn and Sophie.

Mom always enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends whether it was cooking for four or fourteen, going to Disneyland with her grandchildren, or playing cards with her friends at Mountain View Condos. Mom was a talented and accomplished seamstress, spinner, and knitter, many of us with sweaters "made by Bev" tucked in our drawers.

She was a volunteer at the Campbell River Hospital for many years, a member of the Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O) which is an organization that promotes educational opportunities for women as well as a long-time member and volunteer of the United Church of Canada. She also supported many charities with generous donations.

She and dad shared a love for the outdoors, spending many fall seasons hunting and fishing in the interior of B.C. and Alberta. Countless cherished memories were made while camping with Jack and Pam, Dick and Ann and Joan and Ed. They also made many hunting trips to Greenwood to visit their dear friend "Ticky".

After Dad retired, they travelled across Canada to the Atlantic provinces, as well as to various destinations in the United States. Together with Art and Gail, Mom ventured to Hawaii- and at the spry age of 79, she travelled all the way to Thailand to visit Steve.

Special thanks to Dr. Miller and to all the staff at Discovery Harbour in the Cortes wing for all the care and compassion they gave.

In lieu of flowers please give to a charity of your choice.

Memorial service will be held at the

United Church at 1:00 PM on June 20th.
