In loving memory ~

Edward "Ted" Foster passed away peacefully on December 22nd, 2024, in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Born on August 8, 1944, in Comox B.C., Ted was raised in Union Bay and went on to lead a life marked by service, dedication, and community involvement.

In the Mid-1960's, Ted served in the regular army and as a United Nations peacekeeper in the Middle East. After his military service, he met his wife Monique in Ottawa. Together, they moved to Campbell River in 1970, where they built a life rooted in family and community.

Ted worked as an independent insurance adjuster and contributed his expertise board member at Mount Washington Resort. A committed Rotarian in Campbell River, Ted was instrumental in leading efforts to establish the Rotary Seawalk, leaving a lasting legacy for the community he cherished.

Ted is lovingly remembered by his brother John. As well as Monique, his children Michelle, Kenneth (Joe), Alderic, and Russell, and his six grandchildren. His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Campbell River and Nanaimo hospitals for their exceptional care during Ted's final days.

A celebration of life will be held on Jan 17th, 1:00 p.m. at Suttons Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood St, Campbell River.
