Edward “Morris”
Passed away peacefully February 14th surrounded by his family.
Survived by wife Dorothy, son Larry (Cathy) of Sherwood Park, Alberta and Anne of Campbell River. Grandchildren Leigh (Anthony), Shawna (Rob), Sarena (Billy), and Gordon. Sister Marjorie Dube of Burnaby. One niece and numerous nephews.
Morris was born in Nanaimo and grew up in courtenay, moving to Campbell River in 1956. An active member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years and the Campbell River Shrine Club. As well, numerous other community events and charities. An original volunteer in the Willow Point Fire Dept., also a volunteer fireman in Comox and Campbell River Depts. Many an hour also spent at the family cabin, fishing, and travelling.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Morris’ memory to the campbell River Hospital or the Campbell River SPCA.
A Memorial will be held to celebrate Morris’ life on February 20th, 1:30p.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Campbell River. Reception to follow in the church hall.
