April 1st 1956 – October 4th 2009

Edward Leslie Tait “Steady Eddie” passed away peacefully at the Campbell River Hospital on Sunday October 4th 2009 with his loving family by his side.

Pre-deceased by his Father and Mother Carl (1989) and Sadie (1996) Tait. Eddie will be forever loved and missed by his sisters Colleen (Larry) Luckhurst and Tricia (Richard) Murphy. Ed is survived by his step-daughter Tammy Harder and her son Calvin who misses his “Banka”. Ed is also survived by his nephews Cory and Shane and his niece Andrea. Ed will be forever remembered by his many friends and family.

Ed grew up in the logging industry and became a boiler maker and welder working in mills throughout BC. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, and spent many happy times fishing,

boating, hunting and camping. He especially enjoyed his trips to Thailand.

His favourite day of the week was Sunday because they were spent at Tricia’s house for “Sunday Dinner” with his special Sunday group.

He was always trying to expand this group in more ways than one! The family wishes to thank everyone who cared for Ed over the past six years. A very special thank you to Dr. Mahoney, Pauline, Shannon and Michelle of North Island Liver Services for their special care and much support.
