ANDERSON,

Edward James (Ted) Passed away peacefully in Duncan, BC on Saturday, December 25, 2004. Born on April 8, 1943 in Hamiota, Manitoba and raised in Decker.

Ted was taken far too soon from his family and friends from a rare brain disease (cerebellum degeneration)..

Lovingly remembered by his family; wife Bea, daughters; Bev and Bonnie (John), granddaughter Ella; brothers & sisters; Bill (Gail), Pearl (Bob), Ab (Doris), Tom (Muriel), Shirley (Ron), Hazel & Ernie, 19 nieces and nephews and favorite dog, Smidgit.

Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Anna, sisters, Valerie and Peggy, brother Ron and niece Darlene.

Ted worked for Canfor for 20 years as a road builder which he thoroughly enjoyed. Ted loved to golf in his spare time, to putter in his garden, and work with his good friends Clarence and Fred at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Cowichan Station. Most of all Ted loved spending time with the apple of his eye, his granddaughter Ella. Even though Ted was a man of few words, he had an incredible sense of humor and was the most kind and gentle man you could ever meet. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2475 Koksilah Road, Cowichan Station, Duncan, BC on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Flowers are gratefully declined. In memory of Ted donations may be made to a charity of choice or send flowers to a loved one and not take life for granted.
