Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox on Thursday, January 8th, 2004. Tom was born in st. Paul, Alberta, March 1st, 1939. He was 64.
He is survived by his loving wife Iris of 45 1/2 years, sons Ron (Lisa) Garneau of Campbell River; Ray (Lynne) Garneau of Terrace, BC.; daughter Denise (Bob) Sheridan of Lillooet, BC; grandchildren Janine, Jessica, Josh, Tanner, Scott, Mitchell, Cole, and Erin; brothers Ron Garneau of Prince George, Alex (Donna) Garneau of Vernon, and Richard Garneau of Cranbrook; sisters Louise Garneau of White Rock; Lorraine Marks of Campbell River and Kathy (Barry) Shawara of McBride, BC; together with many nieces and nephews.
Tom loved to golf and fish, and put his creative talents to work in his garden. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend, who was very proud of his entire family. He will be ever loved and sadly missed by all.
A Memorial Celebration of Tom’s Life was held on Monday, January 12th, 2004 from the Chapel of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, BC.

Passed away peacefully, Tuesday January 6th, 2004 at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Fern Rhodes, daughter Karen (Todd) and his only granddaughter, Kayla.
He also leaves to mourn three sisters, one brother, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Private Graveside Service will take place at Royal Oak cemetery in Victoria, BC., at a later date. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Resource Centre, 1423B 16th Ave., Campbell River, BC., V9W 2C4.
