Campbell River — Doug W. Wilson, 81, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 following a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Betty Wilson; his son, Doug Wilson (Kim), his daughter Lori Wilson (Tim Woods), his son Greg Wilson (Christine), grandchildren; Lindsey, Brendan, Bryce, Colby, Tanner and Michael.
Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan he moved to Gold River in 1964 with his family and worked in the logging industry until he retired in 1989.
Doug enjoyed woodworking in his retirement; his family has a lot of furniture and toys to remember him by.
The family would like thank the nurses and doctors on the 3rd floor of Campbell River Hospital for the kind care Dad received.
