Dorothy Jeppesen passed away peacefully in Campbell River, B.C. on January 3rd, 2006 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Albert Harris and her second husband Knud Vange Jeppesen, her parents, her son Hugh, daughter Sally Ann and many relatives. Dorothy is survived and will be missed by her daughters Bonnie (James) Cratchley of Bowser, Sharon Katzel of Vancouver, and Anna (Jack) Houser of Campbell River, her sons Bob (Eunice) Jeppesen of Stratford, Ont., Pat (Elaine) Jeppesen of Prince George, B.C. and Ken (Betty) Jeppesen of Prince George. More than 60 grandchildren and great grandchildren other relatives & friends.

Dorothy was a recipient of the Governor General’s Medal for community service in the north. She was dearly loved by so many for her thoughtfulness & kindness. A Service of Remembrance in celebration of her life will be held at Elk Falls Chapel at Elk Falls Memorial Cemetery (Hwy. 28 top of General Hill) in Campbell River on Friday, March 24th, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. (A reminder will be published as the day approaches.)
