Dorothy Mae Evans was born in Burnaby and passed away on November 11, 2017.
She leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Dan Proteau, Loralee Leclere, Cathy Proteau, Janice Proteau, Wendy Hanaka, Cory Surgenor, Mike Surgenor, Tanya Devito, Jeff Long, Kieth Evans; and 12 great grandchildren: Alannah Leclere, Paul Leclere, Ada Peek-Vout, Reese Peek-Vout, Graham Hanaka, Tyson Surgenor, Bryce Surgenor, Wyatt Surgenor, Gabe Surgenor, Nick Evans, Samantha Evans and Gabrielle Evans.
She is predeceased by husband Percy Evans, daughter Cheryl Cooney and son Wayne Evans.
She is survived by son Daryl Evans (Patti), daughter Darlyne Proteau, daughter Lynne Long (Craig) and daughter in law Pat.
As per Dorothy's request, there will no service.
