January 21, 1947 - November 29, 2018
With great sadness we said goodbye to Dorothy Thompson (nee Case) on November 29, 2018 in Prince George, BC. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, John Douglas Thompson, in 2016. She will be loved and remembered by her daughter Tania (Chris) and son Doug (Donna), grandchildren Brandon and Kayleigh, sisters Nina and Jackie, and nieces Sandra and Tammy.
Dorothy "Dot" was born in Vancouver on January 22, 1947, and grew up in Campbell River. She married her high school sweetheart John on June 18, 1966 and together raised a family in Oyster River.
Dorothy loved the outdoors and lending a hand, was thoughtful and resilient, and will be missed by so many. Special thanks to the staff at Simon Fraser Lodge in Prince George. No service by request.
