Passed peacefully in Campbell River Hospital after a brief illness. Predeceased by husband, Mickey, son, Irvin, and two brothers, Leslie and Norman. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Ihla (Trevor), and Patsie (Todd), also Joe Regner, seven grandchildren – Cari-lin, Bill (Natasha), Tracy (Joe), Kelly, Joseph (Dia), Cassandra and Elizabeth, five great grandchildren – David, Shyanne, Caitlin, Ayden, and Brody, and her brothers and sisters – Burt (Duree), Melvin (Brenda), Harold, Kathleen, and Vivian and their families, as well as her friend, Lardbucket. She will also be missed by many friends she had made over the years; through doing volunteer work at the hospital thrift shop and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. In the last few years she enjoyed camping, visiting with her grandchildren and sitting at the spit watching the birds and the ocean. She is being cremated and her ashes will be spread at a later date. No service by request. A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Hall on March 17, at 4pm.
