February 11, 1934 - June 18, 2021
At the age of 87, Doris was called home to her Lord and Saviour on June 18, 2021 surrounded by loving family.
Born in Burnaby, BC on February 11, 1934, Doris is survived by her husband, Brian, brother, Donald (Shirley), as well as 3 children, Kelly (Doug), Jaymie (Sylvia), Daniel (Shawna), 2 step children, Shawn, Troy (Janet), 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with her nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Doris is predeceased by her parents, Frank & Mae Soutar, her late ex- husbands, David Linton and Bill Collins, along with many other beloved family members to whom she was looking forward to reuniting with in Heaven.
Doris loved traveling with her husband, Brian, to California every winter, playing the piano, cranking the tunes and dancing, hosting friends and family over for social gatherings, and being outdoors. She spent countless hours walking through nature trails and beachcombing by the ocean. She will forever be remembered for her kind heart, strong will, and adventurous spirit.
Our family wishes to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at Mountainview 3 at the Views in Comox who cared for our beloved Doris with such love and compassion.
