Doris passed away peacefully at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital on Saturday, November 14, 2015.
Survived by her sons Brian and Gordon and family.
Doris spent many years as a chef at The Discovery Inn, because of her passion for cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved her pets, as they were great company to her.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to doctors and staff at both Campbell River and Nanaimo hospitals, as well as her church family, who supported her through the years.
A memorial service will be held at the Campbell River Baptist Church on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
