It is with great sadness that we share in the loss of our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
A short and courageous battle with cancer ended her good life of love, laughter, kindness, family, gardening and “just living each day”.
Predeceased by her parents Ray and Doreen Merritt of Powell River.
Survived and missed by her loving husband and Best Friend Ken Laslo, daughters Bonnie (Bill) Howich, Shannon Maxwell, Attrina (Barry) Booth, sons Gavin Maxwell, Kevin (Corrina) Chambers, predeceased Darian Chambers.
Only sister, her twin, Sandy Le Heup. Grandchildren Rhaya, Ryan, Erin, Maxwell, Trinity, Evan, Travis and Greg.
Donna could always make us smile,
Because of the special times we’ve shared, Life just seems more worthwhile.
Her light touched all those who met her. She will be missed by many friends in Campbell River and Powell River.
A Celebration of Donna’s Life will take place at Elk’s Hall, Dogwood Street. Friday, October 20th, 3:30pm.
Service to follow at a later date in Powell River.
