Donna Louise (Harman) Powers
April 8, 1952 – October 16, 2009
Donna Louise (Harman) Powers was born in Winnipeg Manitoba on April 8, 1952, and passed away on October 16, 2009 in Victoria BC, after a difficult open-heart surgery.
Donna was greatly loved and appreciated by all who knew her. She worked selflessly in her church, school and community. Her compassion for people was evident in her willingness to help others. She served in many capacities for overseas missions. In 2007 she made the long journey to India with Total Change Ministries, to see how she could help the needy in that country.
She is pre-deceased by her mother, Laura. She is survived by her children, Lance, Peter, and Amanda, father Harold Harman, brother Lorne, his wife Valorie, sister Dorothy Burchell, and husband Mark and Uncle Bob and Auntie Barbara. She leaves behind a church family who loved her dearly. We will miss her so much and we thank God for her life.
