Don passed away peacefully on Sept. 5, 2019 at the Campbell River Hospital, three days short of his 86th birthday. He was born Sept. 8, 1933 in Mildred Sask., to Rose and Adam Pardiac. He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Albert, August (twin) Roy, sister Irene and infant sister Louise. He is also predeceased by his granddaughter Danielle.
Don is survived by his wife Bonnie (62 years in Oct.); daughters Brenda (Sid) Gervais and Sharon Pardiac (Jim) and son David Pardiac. He is survived by grandsons Jacob Eliason, Braden Eliason (Michelle), great granddaughters, Mika, Journey and Meadow. Granddaughter Tiffany Gervais, great grandsons, Austin, Skyler and Brett. He also will be remembered by his sister Leona Hearn and several nieces and nephews.
Don spent his teenage years working in the fishing industry and as a logger. He retired from Elk Falls after working as a paper maker for 38 years. He enjoyed music, playing the accordion, dancing ,camping, fishing, gardening and woodworking.
At Don's request there will be no service. Donation may be made in Don's memory to a Charity of One's choice.
