Cornish, Dianne, Ilona
Born January 26th, 1942, passed away peacefully October 27th, 2008 at Campbell River General Hospital at the age of 66. She is predeceased by her husband Ken Cornish, dad Harold Sutherland, brother, Jim Sutherland and sister in law Edith Thomas. She is survived by her mom Kay Sutherland, and son Steve (Charlene), grandchildren Bertanya, Bradly, son Alan and sister in law Bernice Solberg, also many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Dianne was very outgoing and trust worthy of people. Dianne enjoyed going to the Altrusa house for lunches and other gatherings, and playing bingo, as well as walking to Willie’s and the Comfort Zone on the weekends for her lunch and breakfasts. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Many thanks to Dr. Carswell for all the years of care, and also for the nursing staff at the hospital, home support and Terry and Andrea.
A celebration of life tea will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Altrusa House, 142 Larwood Road, from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
