A resident of New Horizons Care Facility, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2008. Predeceased by Dave Woods, “the love of her life”, and her nephew John, she is survived and will be dearly missed by her son Jim (Helen) Bersey of Enderby; daughter Lisa Michelle Sillanpaa, “the epitome of strength” of Campbell River; granddaughter Amanda Sillanpaa of North Vancouver; brother Mike (Carol) Watters of Surrey; sister Elenore Ainsworth of Penticton; as well as nieces and nephew Janice, Alexandra and John Rogers. She will be loving missed as well by best friends, Del and Wally Owens who have been there for her night and day and her many additional friends and extended family, and her special “4 legged family members” Buttercup and Hollywood. She enjoyed spending time with healing rooms and her church, bringing joy to all who knew her. She touched everyone’s life in some way. A very happy go luck person, very caring and always ready to give of herself. She’s one of the angels now.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will take place from the Church of the Way, Campbell River, on Thursday, December 4th at 1:00pm.
