It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Diane Irene Lavergne on Sunday, February 21, 2010, with her husband and children at her side.
Diane is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gerry; her children, Jessica and Jason (Susanna); her Mother-in-law, Paule Lavergne; many brothers, sisters, brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Diane spent her life caring for and nurturing her family, and giving generously to so many others. She was a stay-at-home mom, a superb cook and had an amazing ‘green thumb’. She loved people and was always willing to lend a listening ear and give a generous hug. She touched the lives of many.
Though our hearts are saddened, we rejoice that she is in the presence of the Lord.
The family wishes to thank everyone for the meals, cards, gifts and sentiments over the past few months and during this dif? cult time. A funeral will be held, in her honour, on Wednesday, Feb 24, 2010 at 1:00 pm, at Campbell River Baptist Church.
