Sept. 11, 1925 ~ Nov. 11, 2004, of Campbell River, BC and formerly of Ottawa. Sadly predeceased by daughter Donna in 1976 and son Daniel in 1991. He leaves behind his much loved family, wife Ella Mae and daughters Kathy (Gerald) Morton of Victoria, Julie (Dan) Fox of Black Creek, grandchildren Matthew & Jennah Fox and Andrew & Daniel Morton. He will also be missed by extended family members and friends in BC., Calgary and the Ottawa area.
Desmond served with the Royal Canadian air Force during the 2nd World War. He worked in the wholesale and retail hardware business in Ottawa. He excelled as a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ottawa chapter. Des and Ella retired to Campbell River in 1979 where he was active in the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 137. He loved his pool and cribbage.

Memorial Service will be held Nov. 19th, 2:00-4:00p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Campbell River.
