David Alexander
David Alexander Coulter passed away at home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He is pre-deceased by his father, Archibald. He is survived by his wife Marianne, his son Davis, and his step-son Dale Pennock. Also, his grandson Ethan, sister Eileen Patey (Derrick) and his mother Betty. Mother in law Jean Flett, Brothers-in-law: Gordon, Bruce, and Jerry Flett; nephews Ken (Elisha) and Craig; niece Amanda, great niece Nevaeh, Aunt Freda and Uncle Alec Clark. Keith and Lois, Daniel, Joyce, Charlene and many other good friends. God Daughter Virginia whom he loved as his own and many other relatives around the world. Dave grew up in Port Elgin ON and surrounding areas went to school there and worked on his family farm with his dad. He went on many ventures before he ended up in Campbell River. In Vancouver/Whistler he was a union carpenter. He was injured and found other ways to make money like selling firewood, shake blocking, salal and mushroom picking. Dave enjoyed the outdoors and after he met Marianne they continued to do many of these things together. Services for Dave will be held on Saturday, August 11th at 1:00p.m. at Sutton's Campbell River Funeral Home, 502 S. Dogwood St., Campbell River, BC. Flowers gratefully accepted, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Dave's Memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
