Daniel George Hanuse
September 12, 1940-January 15, 2010
After fighting a valiant battle with cancer Dan passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter at his side.
Dan leaves behind his loving wife Angela, his mother Laura Jane, daughters Sandra, Lisa (Paul), Chrissy (Bob), Alexandria (Cole) and his son Daniel also his stepchildren Lisa (Rob), Jordan (Wendy), Koby and Brandy and his two sisters Lorna and Sharon. Dan was a kind and caring grandpa to Will, Jake, Amanda, Jessie, Chloe and Courtney.
A big thank you to his golf family that were always there for visits and to help out whenever needed. Also to Barb for honouring his choices. Dan spent many years logging on the North Island, retired to Qualicum and eventually Campbell River where his passion became golf. “May your swing be straight and the sun at your shoulder.”
A celebration of Dan’s life will take place on Friday, January 22nd, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at the Eagle’s Hall, 14th Avenue, Campbell River, B.C.
