Dan
passed away on Thursday April 13th, 2006, at the age of 62.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Irene, and sons Ron (Sherry), Myron, and Richard (Jeanna). His parents Jakim and Ludmilla raised their family in Vernon, B.C., and Dan was the 10th of 11 children: Stan, Walter, Evange, Sonya, Anne, Joanne, Lil, Liz, Bill, (Dan) and Jake. Dan has been the director of Camp Homewood for 21 years and has had a large impact on the community. He went through life with a deep faith in Jesus, an optimistic outlook, along with great character & integrity. Dan lived everyday to the fullest, even during his short time with cancer. He was a great example and inspiration to all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Camp Homewood, Quadra Island, on Saturday April 22nd, 2006, at 1:00 p.m.
