February 26th, 1934 ~ March 22nd, 2003.
Connie passed away peacefully at Campbell River & Dist. General Hospital on March 22, 2003. Con was predeceased by her loving husband Ray, her parents Edwin and Sarah Stefansson, her brother Billy, and her beloved Aunt Edna.
Con lived her life with amazing grace and acceptance.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
There were many challenges in her life and she faced every one with strength, dignity and a wonderful sense of humour. There was always a twinkle in her eyes and a smile for everyone.
She greeted each day with enthusiasm and optimism and treated every day as an adventure. Everyone that knew her must remember that cheerful laugh and her passion not only for a good cup of coffee, but to sit down and have a good game of Crib.
Con is survived by her sons Thomas and Raymond (Brandy) and her step-son Kenneth (Lynda). Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; John, Laura Lee, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Jackie, and Taylor. Her sisters Joyce and Gaye and their families. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. All of whom held a special place in her heart.

To the staff and residents of Yucalta Lodge (especially “the girls” of Coastal East) You all helped Con live with dignity and grace. She appreciated and loved you all.
Con requested that there be no service or memorial. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. Heart and Stroke, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
