It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother, Colleen Virginia Belanger. Mom slipped away peacefully in her sleep on Christmas Eve. Family meant everything to Mom and her loss leaves a huge hole in our lives. She was very fortunate to have found
Dennis Suveges, her soulmate, late in her life. He was a godsend to her, caring for her and treating her like the treasure she was. For that we are forever grateful to him. Mom's first husband, our father Ernie Brisson, died tragically in 1979 leaving her to raise three young daughters,which she did with exceptional strength, courage and compassion, and of course, her wonderful sense of humor.
As her eldest granddaughter put it; "She had the mouth of a trucker and a heart of gold and was never afraid to be herself". She was predeceased by
her long time companion Brian (Papa) , her parents Allan and Genevieve, and her brother David.
Mom leaves behind to mourn us three daughters; Linda (Don), Suezy, and Carol(Barry), grandchildren; Marcello (Amy), Damien(Chantelle), Ashley(Bill), Devan, Casey, Darcy and Chantel, her ex-husband and dear friend Paul and her loving brother and sisters.
