BYERS, Clarence of Quadra Island passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, aged 93.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of 71 years, Etta; daughters Irene O’Donnell-Lutz (Walter) Lorraine Wydenes (Martin) Louise Waterman (Allen), 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson; sister Amy McKenzie, and several nieces and nephews.
Clarence was a logger all of his working life and in his leisure, was an avid woodcarver. In his spare time, he worked at construction, building many homes in Willow Point.
