It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Paul Fauchon on Monday September 19. Born in Campbell River on July 31st, 1978; from childhood Christopher loved to be outdoors and was passionate about everything to do with water. Many of his happiest times growing up were spent in the surrounding areas of Campbell River, camping and fishing and indulging in water sports. Prior to having a family; he earned his living on the water, diving for sea urchins, and fishing. He met his wife and life partner, Lyndie Hess, as a result of their mutual love of fishing while working together on a fishing boat. Christopher’s love of fishing was surpassed only by his love for Lyndie; and he left his childhood home in Campbell River to build a life with her in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Christopher touched many lives and hearts with his sparkling eyes, mischievous grin, ready laugh and soft heart. He leaves behind his wife, Lyndie Hess; his two young sons Khy and Niko; Mom and Dad (Joyce and Ken Fauchon); his older sister (Sheila Kerluck) and her family; his in-laws (Don and Dianne Hess, who thought of him as their son), his Grandpa (Gordon Wighton), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He was predeceased by his Granny and Granddad (Ed and Mary Fauchon) and his Grandma (Bernice Wighton). Christopher holds his own special space in our hearts; and the dark hole that has been left by his passing will fill with our warm memories of loving times while he was with us. We miss you, Christopher.

A celebration of Christopher’s life will take place in Campbell River in summer 2017 at the home of Ken and Joyce Fauchon.
