After a well fought battle with cancer, our dad Charlie Robertson passed away July 13th surrounded by his family. Dad was a born entertainer and story teller. He loved nothing more than sitting around with his sons playing guitars and singing. He passed this love of music on to many of his grandchildren as well.
He is survived by wife Pat Mitchell Robertson and stepchildren Shawna and Mitchell. Friend, and mother of his children, Ruth Robertson Beaulieu. Children Violet Greene, Rob Robertson, Kevin Robertson (Jenny McLeod Robertson) Janice Caverly (Scott Weibe), James Robertson (Tracey Ennis Robertson). His much loved grandchildren Joshua, Santanna, Ashley, Sarah, Amanda, Andrew, Stevie, Dallas and Brooklyn. His sister Marie Hutchins and family. Archie Robertson and family. He was fortunate to have many great grandchildren as well and got to meet his newest great grandchild before he left us.
There is a saying that it is not how many people you loved that matters, it is how many people loved you. If this is the rule you judge a man’s life by, Dad was a very successful man.
A celebration of his life will be held on
September 12th at 1:00 pm at the home of
Kevin and Jenny Robertson located at
9470 Norri Road, Black Creek, B.C. 250-337-8817.
There will be a potluck dinner following the celebration for anyone who wishes to participate.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you and gratitude to Dr. Alan Ruddiman and staff at Main Street Medical in Osoyoos and the Dr.’s at Interior Health in Keremeos. Much love and hugs to nurses Tara Wabnegger and Stacey Carter as well ,for going so far above and beyond what the protocol demanded.
