Passed away on April 10, 2008
She was predeceased by her father Doug Matthews in 1994, nephew Jason May 16, 1978.
She is survived by her mother Barbra Kovacs, stepfather Marton Kovacs, son Justin Matthews. Seven sisters: Maureen (Dan), Barbra (Henry), Rose (Larry) Nadine, Lorna (George), Cindy (Harold), Lorraine (Bob), step brother and sister Steven & Rachel; 18 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews.
Charlene loved the outdoors, loved animals of every kind especially horses and dogs. Charlene had a very big, kind, giving heart for all family and friends. Charlene will be truly missed and always loved by everyone whose lives she touched.
Thank you to the Campbell River Hospital 3rd floor North nurses, Dr. Rob Ramsey and all other staff for their very kind and attentive ways.
A Celebration of Charlene's Life will be held at Oceancrest Church, 291 McLean St. on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 3:00p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations to the C.R. Hospital, 381 2nd Ave., CampbellRiver, BC., V9W 3V1 would be appreciated.
