It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife (Mom) who passed away at the Campbell River Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Louis Neuhauser, and infant son Terrance.
Cecilia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Harry; daughters: Susan (John), Brenda (Bob) and son David; Grandchildren: Lorne (Catherine), Shane (Robin), Jason, Casey (Laurin) and Heather. Great grandchildren: Jordan, Ocean, Zaila, Victoria and Alana. Sister Theresa & family.
Cecilia was born in Hungary and moved to Canada in 1929, where her family resided in Terrace, BC. There she met and married Harry who was serving in the Armed Forces during World War II. They moved to Ontario for a brief time, returned to Terrace and shortly after moved to Ocean Falls where they lived from 1953 ~ 1966. In 1966 they moved to Campbell River.
Cecilia was a very kind and compassionate person who loved all unconditionally and will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends. She was “Mom to Janet & Cherrielee whom she loved as if they were her own. She was a very special person, who loved to visit with her friends, bake, play cards and enjoyed her 5 pin bowling with The Happy Wanderers.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Klein, the doctors and staff in emergency & I.C.U. who assisted in her care. A special thank you to Monique for her kind and caring ways both with Cecilia and the family. Also a very special thank you to Hans for his kindness and compassion shown to her and her family during the difficult final hours.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held by the family and a graveside service will follow in Terrace in the Spring.
