Cathy (“Doll”) Diane Tansley (nee Drinkwater)
October 16, 2013
Cathy (“Doll”) Diane Tansley (nee Drinkwater) passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital on October 16, 2013 at the far too young age of 59.
Born and raised in Kamloops, Cathy moved to Campbell River in 2003. It was here where she met and married her loving husband Dick in 2005. Together they owned and operated Dick’s Fish & Chips. Cathy could be seen daily walking the many trails in Campbell River with our great Goldie, “Bailey” (who is also our meet and greeter at Dick’s Fish & Chips)
Cathy is survived by her husband Dick, children Cristina (Scott), Jaclyn (Jay), grandchildren Graeme, Kaitlin, Brianna, and Amelia.
She also leaves her brother Ian (Marnie) and niece Nicola.
“I love you Doll, see you in Heaven”, Dick.
"I did my best, it wasn’t much
I couldn’t feel, so I tried to touch
I’ve told the truth, I didn’t come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I’ll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah."
~Leonard Cohen
