Catherine Nicole (Nikki) Balogh, born May 24, 1983 in Port Alberni, BC, passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on May 3, 2017. Nikki is survived by her husband, Chris Forde of Houston, and his mother Barb Forde from Campbell River. Nikki fell in love with Chris at 17 years of age, against her original plans, and much to the delight of her mother. Nikki is also survived by her parents, Ray & Cathy Balogh from Deep Bay, her brother Joe Balogh and family from Vancouver. She leaves her grandparents, and other extended family members too numerous to mention but always in her heart. Nikki was a graduate of Timberline High School in 2001, and the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Pharmacy in 2011. Taken from us far too soon, Nikki had many accomplishments that we won’t mention since she had a penchant for brevity. No service by request.
