Kay passed away at Campbell River Hospital on Friday, November 25, 2005. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Agnes Rector; her brother Jack; her first husband Chuck Fearing and second husband John. Kay is survived by her son Gordon Fearing (Mary-Ann) of Bella Coola, B.C.; her daughters Donna Hougen and Sarita Ellis (Bill) both of Campbell River; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her bother Bob Rector (Marg) of Surrey, B.C. and many nieces and nephews, Kay was a volunteer at the Campbell River Thrift Shop for 22 years. A Memorial Service will be held at the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 145 Simms Road, Campbell River on Thursday, December 1st, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. ISLAND FUNERAL SERVICES/ELK FALLS CREMATORIUM, 909 ISLAND HIGHWAY, CAMPBELL RIVER entrusted with arrangements. Donations in Kay’s memory may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation, 381-2nd Avenue, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 3V1. Kay’s family wishes to thank Dr. Kroeze and the 2nd Floor staff at the Campbell River Hospital, her home care workers and the staff at the Anchor Inn.
