It is with great sadness that we announce that Carol Ordway (nee Sloan) passed away at the Campbell River Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Carol was predeceased by her dad, Arnie in 2001. She leaves her companion and best friend, Kenny Lee, daughters: Sherri & Tammy, as well as her mom; Betty Slaon, brothers: Don (Laura) & Dave, sisters Bev (Leighton) & Colleen (Gary), Kenny’s sons, Duncan & Chris, numerous nieces & nephews as well as many special friends.
Carol was born and raised in Campbell River and operated the Campbell River Airporter shuttle bus for many years. She will be sadly missed by her co-workers, colleagues, customers and friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Arnold and the nurses on the 3rd floor for their kindness and compassion during our difficult time.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life in the form of an open house will be held at the Eagles Hall, 1999-14th Ave., Campbell River on Sunday Oct. 1st, 2006 from1:00-4:00.
Carol’s daughters have asked if you can bring any memories written down so they can make it into a scrapbook.
