Carol Wingert passed away suddenly at home in Fanny Bay on January 14th, 2007. She was predeceased by her father Del Mooney and her brother Jim Mooney. Carol is survived by her husband David Wingert of Borden, Ontario, her mother Verna Mooney of Vancouver, her sister Jeanne (Jim) Walker of North Vancouver, her close friends Glady Richards and Mary Houser as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol will be remembered for her kindness to the elderly and for her love of animals. Donations in Carol’s memory to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
