It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our wife, mother and grandmother. She passed away peacefully on May 4, 2005 with her family at her side She was born in Vancouver B.C. on October 1, 1942.

Carol was a devoted homemaker for her family, and she was always busy with her social and work activities. In Prince Rupert she worked at the Royal Fish Cannery, was a member of the Women’s Moose Club and the Women’s Bowling League. Her family moved to Vancouver Island. In Sayward, she worked and taught yoga and water aerobic classes at the Recreation Center, she was also a member of the Sayward Council. Campbell River, she started child care in her home which she truly enjoyed, and inspired her to open a daycare in Nanaimo, called Carol’s Corner.

Deepest thanks to the nurses of I.C.U. and Palliative Care Unit at the N.R.G.H. , for their care, compassion and kindness.
