My Obituary ~
It is with mixed feelings, and no surprise, that I announce the passing of Me (Captain Jock Palmer F.W.E.)
I have always said "sailors never say good bye." A new crew, a new family and some new lifelong friends are up ahead.
I have had a wonderful run of life, which included all phases; childhood adventures that could have ended it all, teen years where my passion for the Marine Industry began, and getting married. Adult years provided a nice home, a long marriage and unlimited recreation. I saw My Boys turn into successful men, met My Granddaughters, stayed tight with My Parents and Siblings, and had a career that most Mariners could have only dreamed.
I was predeceased by my Parents, John and June Palmer, Sister, Vivien Appleby and Brother, Eric Palmer.
I am survived by my Wife Carol, Sons Clinton (Kellie), Clayton (Sarah) Granddaughters Claira and Cleo, Brother Rory (Andrea) and wonderful Nieces and Nephews.
I am also survived by some dear friends who seem to think I was OK. Thanks so much for what you added to my life. One can only hope that any thoughts or memories of me are happy.
If that spark of life does carry on, look for me so we can do it all again.
No service by request.
