November 15, 1943 - January 6, 2020
Burton ("Burt"') Carl Erickson passed away Jan 6, 2020 in Port Alberni at age 76, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born Nov 15, 1943 in Vancouver BC and was raised in Kelsey Bay.
He is survived by his wife Chris ( married 14 years), his brother Bob (Judy), daughter Carrie, son Richard, stepdaughters Jodi & Brenda, and grandchildren: Parker, Nathan, Sydney, Taylor, Courtney & Tyler. Close nieces & nephews: Stephen & Jill, Susan & Brenna, Joanne & Suzanne and all of their families. Close cousins: Carl, Kathy & Marian. He is predeceased by his parents Ozzie & Doris, his brother Jack, close cousins Peggy & Gloria and many uncles & aunts. Sorry if any names of Family and those he touched over the years are missed. He was also loved by many friends in his congregation, his community & his workplaces. Chris & family would like to thank the Ty Watson House , the Port Alberni Palliative Team, and the excellent hospital staff at Port Alberni, Nanaimo & Victoria Royal Jubilee. A Memorial for Burt will be held Saturday January 25th 1:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 5055 Maebelle Rd. Port Alberni, BC
