David William Edward

of Campbell River, passed away April 8, 2004 aged 74 years. He is survived by his wife Margaret of 44 years, daughters Teri (Donni) Fraser of Georgia, Betty (Gene) Gauvin of Princeton, BC, and Cindy (David) Haring of Campbell River, BC, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and brother Glynne (Babe) of Ladysmith, BC.

David was an active member in the Campbell River Lions Club, and the fraternal Order of Eagles Arie 3097. He loved his fishing and camping.

There will be an open house at #16-500 Colwyn Street, Campbell River, on Sunday April 18, 2004 between 2:00-4:00 pm.


Donations may be made in David’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 255-2000 Island Hwy, Brooks Landing, Nanaimo, BC, V9S 5W3.

September 3, 1934 ~ April 12, 2004. born in Ponoka Alberta. Survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Kathleen, son Jeff and his wife Donna, grandchildren Devon and Hamish, sister Lillian, in-laws ken and Hilda, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. Dad enjoyed a forty year career in the shake and shingle industry. He will be best remembered for his sense of humour and always willing to help others. by request of Bill, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, in Dad’s memory, donations can be made to the Campbell River Hospital or B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Always remembered.

Interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens.
