With great sadness we announce the passing of Bev. After a short battle, she passed peacefully in Campbell River Hospital.
She will be missed by many. She was a loving wife to Craig, mother to Kim (Brian) and James (Karen). Granny to Kayle, Brian, Chariti and Destini. She was a dear friend to many people and touched many hearts.
Born in Ericksdale, Manitoba to Norman and Annie Mason (predeceased), little sister to Ken (Pat) Mason, Ray (Fay) Mason, Lorne (predeceased) (Judy) Mason and Gerald Mason. Sister-in-law to David (predeceased) (Diana) Stewart, Heather Beatty (David) as well as too many nieces and nephews to mention.
Bev loved camping and joining Craig, and their friends, on many hunting trips. She spent lots of time at the pool doing aqua aerobics as well as countless hours volunteering at the soup kitchen and the hospital thrift shop. She adored all the people she volunteered with.
A special thanks to ICU 3rd floor nurses at the Campbell River General Hospital for their continued care. Chris and Dave Blanchard, Auntie Di, Auntie Heather and David for all their emotional support. We wouldn’t have been able to get through this without all of you. Charlotte at Hospice, Nancy and Terry Boulet, Maureen and John May and all of Bev and Craig’s close circle of friends and neighbours.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Radiant Life Soup Kitchen.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
